GENERAL PRESENTATION

The International Freestyle Skating Association (IFSA) in charge of setting international competitions of " roller acrobatique " decided that France would be the welcoming country for the "2005 roller acrobatique world championships ". This event which gathers the world best specialists of " roller acrobatique " suggests the following disciplines : Style Slalom, Speed Slalom, Style Jump, Free Jump and High Jump.

The French Federation of Acrobatic Roller has entrusted the Aquitaine League and the Saint Médard en Jalles Club with the organization of the championship, which is bound to welcome competitors from all around the world.

So as to be able to participate, slalom competitors will have to get qualified at one of the IFSA Circuit competitions that are organized in the following countries : Germany, England, Spain, France, Russia, China, Singapore and Italy.

Nevertheless, given that Jump disciplines are " open competitions ", it won't be required to get qualified at the competitions aforesaid. Qualifications for Style Jump and Hauteur Pure will take place on Friday, September 2nd 2005.

This is worth noting that prior to the world championship, we organize the last qualifying event on Friday, September 2nd 2005.

All French competitors will have to be in possession of their FFRS certificate.

THE DATE

The world championship will take place on September 2nd, 3rd & 4th 2005 and will therefore last three days (Friday to Sunday).

THE PLACE

The site will be the " R. Monseau Sports Complex " of Saint Médard en Jalles (Gironde).
On the one hand, it shows a great capacity in terms of public welcoming thanks to its 2000 seats terraces. On the other hand, once the floor installed, it permits a smooth track.

In case of bad weather, there still remains the possibility to transfer the competition to an indoor sports complex that the city of Saint Medard en Jalles will place at our disposal.

THE EVENTS

This championship is composed of 2 official disciplines, 3 jump disciplines in open competition and a show discipline. We intend that this competition be both a success and a celebration, and help the promotion of jump disciplines.
We decided to reward the three first of (almost) each discipline for Price Money. Even if these premiums are not very significant, we estimate that for a final, that cannot be differently. The amount of the premiums will go up according to possible the new partners. To see which disciplines are concerned with Price Money and to see the amounts, it is in the regulation.
